Personal text Being a CAD designer. I approach 3D differently than most. Perhaps I'm a bit of a square peg in a round hole, but the end results are images and animations.

I've tended to focus primarily on design and secondarily on trying to make what I create look real. I'm doing everything I can to change that. I want my work to look convincingly real. I may never reach this goal, but it's important to try.

I'm not short on opinion, and critique frequently. Sometimes I may be right, sometimes wrong, but the most important thing is the critique itself. Anything short of that is people posting images and not getting feedback... which makes it hardly worth the effort, as I see it.

8 indicates Very Good. The design is nice, I especially like the use of glass for structural as well, instead of using aluminum or steel.

I see not ventilation vents or any provision for temperature control/ventilation. Even if this structure is on a North wall, whatever parts of it exposed to the sun will likely quickly heat the interior. This appears to be a single-panel glass arrangement.

Other than that, the stonework ledges extend beyond the edge of the roof, and no gutter is apparent. This will splash much of the vertical glass with droplets as they hit the ledge, meaning frequent glass cleaning will be needed for a continually clean appearance.

The rendering looks good. The leaves in the foreground, and the focus beyond them is great. Materials may be appearing a little flat (maybe not), but are very good.

Odyssey, this is brilliant work, literally and figuratively. The lighting is some of the best I have ever seen. I'm envious. The room finishes, ceiling (Wow)... excellent work.
